Widely used internationally in revenue and switchboard applications by engineering, construction, and power companies, CIC Current Transformers are the result of over 40 years of manufacturing expertise, combined with technology transferred from Messwandler-Bau (MWB) of Germany.

The primary insulation material for CIC's current transformers is the Araldite® epoxy resin, known for its reliability. The outdoor models make use of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, similarly to ensure high-quality insulation.

CIC's current transformers, including OEM/ODM products, are type-tested and routine-tested by CIC-owned, TAF-accredited Advanced Electricity Laboratory (TAF, or Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, is a member of ILAC and a signatory to the ILAC MRA).

    The ROS Series Low-Voltage Current Transformers for Billing are designed for indoor applications - for use on meters or instruments on 1Φ2W, 1Φ3W, 3Φ3W and 3Φ4W distribution systems. The ROS Series Current Transformers provide a of maximum R.F. 4.0, associated with 0.3 metering class. Every one of these current transformers is tested to ensure that the electric property is accurate and that the appearance is perfect in all respects. The ROS Series Current Transformers service a ratio range from 100/5A to 1200/5A. There are two window sizes available: 66mm and 78mm (diameter).
