Low-Voltage Current Transformers (~0.72 kV)
Widely used internationally in revenue and switchboard applications by engineering, construction, and power companies, CIC Current Transformers are the result of over 40 years of manufacturing expertise, combined with technology transferred from Messwandler-Bau (MWB) of Germany.
The primary insulation material for CIC's current transformers is the Araldite® epoxy resin, known for its reliability. The outdoor models make use of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, similarly to ensure high-quality insulation.
CIC's current transformers, including OEM/ODM products, are type-tested and routine-tested by CIC-owned, TAF-accredited Advanced Electricity Laboratory (TAF, or Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, is a member of ILAC and a signatory to the ILAC MRA).
For (≤) 600-voltage power systems, these ABS-encapsulated window-type current transformers are suited to electric engineering applications and distribution switchgears. Each contains a high-quality coil and an annealed oriented core.

These epoxy-cast multi-ratio bushing current transformers (BCTs, or bushing CTs) are typically installed in 23 kV C-GIS (cubicle-type gas-insulated switchgear) for use with measuring or monitoring instruments, or protective relays.
Designed to protect an ungrounded system against leakage and earth faults, these zero-phase current transformers (ZCT) feature an epoxy-cast coil fixed by two metal frames. Window size: 60, 90, 105, 120, or 180 m/mψ.
