Low-Voltage Potential Transformers (~0.72 kV)
Widely used internationally in revenue and switchboard applications by engineering, construction, and power companies, CIC Potential Transformers (Voltage Transformers) are the result of over 40 years of manufacturing expertise, combined with technology transferred from Messwandler-Bau (MWB) of Germany.
The primary insulation material for CIC's potential transformers is the Araldite® epoxy resin, known for its reliability. The outdoor models make use of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, similarly to ensure high-quality insulation.
CIC's potential transformers, including OEM/ODM products, are type-tested and routine-tested by CIC-owned, TAF-accredited Advanced Electricity Laboratory (TAF, or Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, is a member of ILAC and a signatory to the ILAC MRA).
Single-phase potential transformers for indoor locations of lower humidity. Class-A insulation material. Used with measuring or monitoring instruments, or as an auxiliary power source in the main panel or motor control panel.
Auxiliary power source for circuit breaker operation (select models). Featuring a resin-insulated coil and suited for humid locations, this indoor low-voltage potential transformer has excellent moisture resistance and high insulation.
Because of dry type single phase S series potential transformer, we also design dry type three phase 3S series potential transformer. The space-saving item also helps reduce clients' cost.
CIC's ETI-1S series indoor half mold potential transformer is made with an epoxy resin coated coil combined with an iron core and shelf. The compact design allows for reduced weight and allows for superior ventilation.
Our RP-15 series indoor half mould potential transformers were launched to help customers to reduce costs. It is designed to be well ventilated, and comes complete with national accredited laboratory tests.
