Low-Voltage Tubular Power Capacitors

WSCR Series

Low-voltage, single-phase or three-phase power capacitors, featuring self-restoring metallized polypropylene film and built-in tension fuses. Comes with a screw at the bottom for easy installation. Cylindrical-shape aluminum alloy casing.

About the Product

Each single-phase or three-phase power capacitor of the WSCR Low-Voltage Series is made by placing a roll of metallized polypropylene film in a sealed vacuum tubular container made of aluminum alloy. When power capacitor failure causes an insulation breakdown, the metallized polypropylene film is able to self-restore. In addition, gas pressure generated by power capacitor failure will tear the tension fuses installed in the sealed cylinder and thus cut off power and prevent further damage. Each tubular power capacitor comes with a screw attached to the bottom for easy installation. The cylindrical shape of the aluminum alloy casing allows heat dissipation, which helps conserve energy and prolong product lifespan.

Detuned reactors, connected in series, are necessary for circuits with high harmonic currents. These “series reactors,” usually part of a power factor correction (PFC) capacitor bank, help to reduce harmonics in currents, increase power efficiency, and prevent disasters caused by resonance.

MV Dry-Type Series Reactors (detuned reactors) with ratings ranging from 3.6 kV to 24 kV have coils that are insulated with Class-H materials and then coated with epoxy resin. The three phases are insulated against each other by the air within the space between them. These electrical reactors are noted for their moisture resistance, excellent heat dissipation, low noise, easy maintenance, and product longevity.
