About the Product
Each EZ-A Series zero-phase molded current transformer features a high-quality coil insulated with Araldite® epoxy resin and is fixed on a metal base. To meet various requirements, the EZ-A Series offers many choices of window diameters, current ratios, burdens, and accuracies. This type of zero-phase current transformer is often used with a grounded system for zero-phase current detection and for ground-fault protection. In an application with a current of 600V or higher, a suitably insulated primary conductor (e.g. insulated cables) should be used. To suit the needs of a variety of sensitivity levels, multi-ratio models are also available. Each EZ-A Series current transformer is characterized by a fine exterior and is high in accuracy.
