About the Product
- Bolt: A bolt is an externally threaded fastener, typically for use through pre designed or drilled holes, typically intended to be tightened or released with use of an appropriately sized nut. A screw has features in it's design which make it capable of being used in a tapped or other preformed hole in the work it is designed for regardless of its use in its service application. Its basic design or features allow it to be tightened or released only by use of an accompanying nut of appropriate size.
- Carbon Steel: Steel which owes its properties chiefly to various percentages of carbon without substantial amounts of other elements; is classified as steel when no minimum content of elements other than carbon content is specified.
- GRADE is typically a reference to hardness. Common anchor bolts are grade 2.
- Bolts of this nature are typically threaded on the long side of the bend only. Thread length can be specified at the time the orders are placed, as can the bend length, though on standard ½", the bend is normally kept to 1-1/2".
- Anchor bolts may be supplied with or without hex nuts and washers. Bolts and nuts may be supplied as attached or packaged separately as per customer requirements.
- Most often, anchor bolts are supplied as bare metal. That is low carbon steel that is not coated or plated. However, on request, anchor bolts may also be supplied with zinc plating or be hot dipped galvanized.
- Anchor bolts are made using rolled thread technology.
- Anchor bolts are most often ordered as bulk packed, but may be packaged in any manner specified.
- Depending on size and required finish normal lead-time on delivery is typically 60 days ex factory from time of order. Order quantities should be based on one full container load of approximately 19 metric tons.
- Packaging is as diverse as the range of available sizes and can include but not be limited to quarter keg cartons, barrels, retail or blister packs or poly bags as needed.

Barbed wire, or barb wire as it is sometimes called comes in a variety of different sizes and coil lengths, depending on the application.Typically, barbed wire is defined by several criteria, which include the number of strands of wire, the number of points, distance between points and the weight of the reel or coil.Standard barbed wire then would be 12-1/2 gauge, 4 point, 80 rod with 4" spacing, 85 lbs packed on skids of 27 coils. Reels may be supplied with a wire core for ease of handling, though as a precaution, heavy gloves should be worn when handling barbed wire to prevent personal injury.Other configurations such as two point or smaller reels are available. In addition, 15-1/2 gauge high tensile wire is also available.Barbed wire most often is supplied as hot dipped galvanized. The wire is given a molten zinc bath, which serves as a rust preventative. Barbed wire may also be supplies with a PVC coating if desired, though this is not as common as the HDG type.
For both chain link and wood fence applications, there is a fitting available for every application.Heavy-duty castings that include such items as gate latch or latch catch made hot dipped galvanized for outdoor protection or stamped stainless items such as caps are available.Post caps, end caps, straps, latches, hooks, hinge bolts, tension bars, flanges, sleeves brackets and decorative hardware are a few of the wide range of products available.
This diverse range of product has a multitude of uses, limited only by the imagination. Mesh sizes come as small as 0.5mm (0.0197") to as big as 76mm (3").Applications for everything from a filter to a fence, to make animal cages or baskets to concrete reinforcing make wire mesh one of the most versatile of products.Depending on it's intended use, hardware cloth and mesh can be welded or woven and can be made in rolls up to six feet - 183 millimeters wide in rolls up to 200 feet in length.Wire mesh can be hot dipped galvanized, electro galvanized or PVC coated, but can also be made from stainless steel where no coating would be required.
This product is a consolidation of two distinct products, which are described as hexagon head cap screws and finished hexagon bolts. Each category is recognized by national and world standards. Bolts may be ordered according to ASTM, IFI, DIN or others as may be pertinent to customer requirements. Unification of type may indicate products to North American specifications where as British or Japanese standards may alter description or specifications. The top of the head should be full formed and chamfered or rounded with the diameter of the chamfer circle being equal to the maximum witch across flats, within a tolerance of minus 15%. Wrenching height is a distance measured from the bearing surface up to the side of the head at the corners. The width across corners shall be within specific limits for the full wrenching height. Thickness of the washer face should not be less than 0.015 inches nor greater than 0.025 for screw sizes of ¾ inch and smaller and not less than 0.015 or greater than 0.035 for sizes larger than ¾". The body diameter on full-length threaded screws under the head shall not be less than the specified pith diameter of the thread. The point should be chamfered or rounded at the manufacturers option at a distance of 0.016" below the minor diameter of the thread. Chemical and mechanical properties of steel screws normally conform to grades 2, 5 or 8 of SAE J429, ASTM A 449 or ASTM A 354 where specified. Screws may be made from brass, bronze, any of several corrosion resistant steels such as stainless steel, Aluminum alloy or other materials. Various coatings may be applied that include, but may not be limited to zinc, phosphate, dry oxide, ruspert or they may even be hot dipped galvanized, depending on their final end use.
Like other fasteners, nails come in every imaginable shape and size. Most often, nails are used in applications where joining something to wood. However, special use nails that include concrete nails are also available. From the smallest finishing nail to the biggest spikes, nails have not changed in their popularity since the first one was made as far back as 3400 BC. In modern times, nails have evolved to have a wider range of uses that include roofing, drywall, concrete, panel, brads, spirals, common, and box nails. Typically nails are sharp at one end and pointed at the other though headless nails are also available. Most often nails are machine made using wire, but may also be forged or cut for special applications. Body shape will be important, and may include a twisted shank, smooth shank, barbed shank or fluted shank depending on what the nail is intended to fasten. Most often nails are made of carbon steel, but aluminum and stainless are other materials commonly used for making nails.
Nuts are internally threaded fasteners for use with externally threaded bolts or screws as a means of tightening one part to the other.Nuts can be supplied in a wide range of types and sizes, which may be referred to as nominal size. The nominal size is the designation used for the purpose of general identification.Nuts will be measured for the thickness, which is the overall distance from the top of the nut to the bearing surface, measured parallel to the axis of the nut.In order for a nut to fit properly on an externally threaded fastener such as a bolt, the thread of the nut must match exactly that of the thread on the bolt. If not, the nut will not be able to be turned on or tightened. Nuts may have a fine thread or a coarse thread as designated by the customer requirements.Nuts may be supplied in nominal sizes ranging from ¼" to 4" or in the metric equivalent sizes that are outlined in Din specifications.As is the case with any other fastener, nuts may be made using various materials, though carbon steel is common. Depending on application, nuts may also be supplied in stainless steel or brass as well.Nuts may be zinc plated or hot dipped galvanized, though care needs to be taken to ensure that the coating does not change the nominal size of the nut and thus affect its ability to be threaded onto a bolt or other externally threaded fastener.Nuts may be supplied separately or together with their matching externally threaded fasteners.

Washers are available with proportions designed to spread the load of a bolt or screw over a larger area.Types of washers include flat, SAE flat where a tighter fit is needed, fender washers, lock washers, external tooth lock washers, internal tooth lock washers, square washers and other types as may be required or specified by customer requirements.Washers will generally have a hole in the middle of a size that will match an externally threaded fastener. Often the OD of the washer will be double the size of the ID of the washer.
Wire in coils; merchant's quality wire, tie wire, rebar wire, and galvanized wire make up a group of product with a multitude of uses.Wire can be supplied in coils as small as two lbs such as mechanics wire to jumbo coils weighing in at over a ton depending on its intended use.Ranging in diameter from 8 gauge to 22 gauge, wire is as diverse as the wide range of available sizes.This category of wire is mild steel and can be supplied as black annealed, bright or galvanized, and can be packaged according to customer requirements in cartons for smaller coils or banded for larger ones.
