Secondary Overvoltage Protectors for Current Transformers
Overvoltage Protectors for Current-Transformer Secondary Windings and Associated Circuits
When the system is in operation, the secondary side of the current transformer is designed to prevent it from allowing an open circuit. Open circuits can be the result of lightning strikes, harmonic oscillation over current, capacity charge current or other events which may result in extreme high voltage causing damage to the current transformer and secondary equipment, or even posing a threat to personal safety. Our current transformer secondary over voltage protector CCTP-03 is there to prevent accidents that are the result of abnormal secondary high voltage.
