Medium-Voltage Current Transformers (10~25 kV)
Widely used internationally in revenue and switchboard applications by engineering, construction, and power companies, CIC Current Transformers are the result of over 40 years of manufacturing expertise, combined with technology transferred from Messwandler-Bau (MWB) of Germany.
The primary insulation material for CIC's current transformers is the Araldite® epoxy resin, known for its reliability. The outdoor models make use of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, similarly to ensure high-quality insulation.
CIC's current transformers, including OEM/ODM products, are type-tested and routine-tested by CIC-owned, TAF-accredited Advanced Electricity Laboratory (TAF, or Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, is a member of ILAC and a signatory to the ILAC MRA).
Cut-core, medium-voltage, indoor-use, coil molded current transformer intended for a 15kV power system and suited for measuring or monitoring instruments. Insulated with Araldite® epoxy resin.
Single/dual-core indoor window-type current transformers for power systems ≦ 15kV. Primary current: 500~3000A (single-ratio or multi-ratio). Araldite® epoxy. Used with measuring or monitoring instruments, or for protection.
EWF-20D Series - EWF-20DA, EWF-20DB, EWF-20DD, EWF-20DE, EWF-20DS
For energy meters or protective relays, these single-core or multi-core current transformers are insulated with Araldite® epoxy resin. Custom-made to meet various specifications.
Current transformers for installation in a switchgear panel of a ≤25kV power system and to be used with measuring or monitoring instruments, or protective relays. These are economic models suited to locations of high humidity or moderate pollution. The insulation material for the core and the secondary coil is the Araldite® epoxy.
Used for power monitoring or as part of a MOF (Metering Outfit) for a 12~36kV power system, these outdoor CTs for billing are insulated with Araldite® UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy. Accuracy 0.15S~0.3; burden B-0.5. Available as Extended Range Current Transformers (ERCTs) if requested.
