Epoxy Insulator Accessories for Medium-Voltage C-GIS
Epoxy resin insulator accessories play a crucial role in C-GIS, which is short for cubicle-type gas-insulated switchgear—a type of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). These insulator accessories are integral to the metal-enclosed switchgear equipment that is insulated with sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas.
About the Product
For two to three decades, domestic distribution panel customers have expressed high satisfaction and demand for the quality and service of various products provided by Challenge Industrial Co., Ltd. (CIC), including distribution transformers, indoor and outdoor instrument transformers, and electronic energy meters.
To offer a more diverse range of services and solutions, CIC has gradually introduced high-quality distribution panel components for customers. These components include epoxy resin insulation accessories for mid-voltage C-GIS switchgear cabinets, designed for internal wiring in 2-Way or 4-Way switchgear boxes used in power company distribution systems.
CIC manufactures its C-GIS insulation accessories using Vogel's Automatic Pressure Gelation (APG) system, with Araldite® epoxy resin as the chosen insulation material. Epoxy resin insulators provide excellent electrical characteristics, such as high insulation, resistance to electric arcs, and moisture resistance, along with superior mechanical properties like tensile strength, bending resistance, compression resistance, and impact resistance. With years of accumulated manufacturing expertise, CIC's epoxy resin insulators exhibit very low partial discharge and offer exceptional safety for long-term use in distribution boxes.
Challenge Industrial Co., Ltd. imported APG equipment, molds, and other hardware from Switzerland in 1990, and has since developed various epoxy resin insulators and accessories with over 30 years of manufacturing experience.
