Epoxy Insulator Accessories for Medium-Voltage C-GIS
Epoxy resin insulator accessories play a crucial role in C-GIS, which is short for cubicle-type gas-insulated switchgear—a type of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS). These insulator accessories are integral to the metal-enclosed switchgear equipment that is insulated with sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas.

Overvoltage Protector for Current-Transformer Protection
CCTP-03
When a power system is in operation, it is imperative that the secondary of the current transformer(s) should not have an open circuit. When an open circuit occurs, an extremely high transient voltage will be induced, which can in turn damage the current transformers and the instruments at the secondary, or even posing a threat to personal safety. This CT secondary overvoltage protector offers protection from such accidental damage caused by secondary transient voltage.

Current Transformers (CT) - Instrument Transformers
Current transformers, abbreviated as CT, are specialized transformers used in AC electrical circuits. Together with voltage transformers (VT), they are collectively known as "instrument transformers." Current transformers function by transforming higher current (I1) on their primary side into lower current (I2) on their secondary side, maintaining a specific ratio. Typically, the secondary current is transformed into 5A or 1A, as prescribed by current IEC and IEEE regulations. The transformed current can be easily and safely measured, serving the purpose of monitoring and measuring electricity consumption in circuits and systems. Current transformers can also play a crucial role in providing protection to the primary side electrical circuits.

Low-Voltage (LV) Current Transformers (CT) 0.72 kV max.
Low-voltage current transformers by CIC are manufactured in two main insulation styles: ABS-encased or cast-resin types. In terms of structure, the LV current transformer series offers different variations, including window-type and split-core models. Functionally, there are two main types: metering (measurement) CTs and protection CTs. There are also zero-phase current transformers (ZCTs) suitable for outdoor or indoor use by utility companies or high-voltage end-users to protect against high-voltage power cable leakage and support other monitoring needs. This product line also includes special types, such as dry-type bushing current transformers (BCT), ideal for GIS switches or transformer bushings. All types and specifications of current transformers from CIC undergo type tests and routine tests conducted by CIC's Advanced Electricity Lab, accredited by the ILAC member TAF, ensuring product quality. With over 45 years of professional experience, CIC manufactures a wide range of high-quality and versatile current transformers. Our diverse product specifications cater to the needs of various customer groups. We also offer customization and ODM/OEM services. Due to the high precision and stable quality of our products, they are widely adopted in billing, power supply, and distribution projects by utility companies, factories, major engineering ventures, and construction companies worldwide.
