704 units of outdoor current transformers delivered to Taipower; 976 units to be shipped in May.

Taipower inspecting 704 units of CIC current transformers
704 units of CIC outdoor current transformers were recently delivered, as part of an order for 1,680 units from Taipower.
Several weeks ago, CIC delivered a batch of 704 outdoor-type current transformers for revenue metering. This was to fulfill the first part of an order from Taiwan Power Company. 976 more units of these 12 kV current transformers (AWF Series) are scheduled to be delivered in May. This makes it a total of 1,680 current transformers for the utility company.
CIC’s “AWF Series” Current Transformer is specially designed to withstand UV radiation without deterioration in electrical performance, thanks to its insulation material — Araldite® UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin. This popular product has been supplied to power companies in numerous countries of tropical maritime climate, where the CTs have been exposed to high moisture and salty air for more than 20 years while continuing to function with stable quality.
