Potential Transformers (or Voltage Transformers) are offered in many voltage classes and in numerous types, including Grounding Potential Transformers (1-Phase and 3-Phase), Single-Pole Potential Transformers (Grouding-Type), Double-Pole Potential Transformers, and others. CIC potential transformers are designed for low-voltage or medium-voltage switchgear as well as power companies.

Control Transformers (often called Control Power Transformers, or CPT's) are also available.

Widely used internationally in revenue and switchboard applications by engineering, construction, and power companies, CIC Potential Transformers (Voltage Transformers) are the result of over 45 years of manufacturing expertise, combined with technology transferred from Messwandler-Bau (MWB) of Germany.

The primary insulation material for CIC's potential transformers is the Araldite® epoxy resin, known for its reliability. The outdoor models make use of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, similarly to ensure high-quality insulation.

CIC's potential transformers, including OEM/ODM products, are type-tested and routine-tested by CIC-owned, TAF-accredited Advanced Electricity Laboratory (TAF, or Taiwan Accreditation Foundation, is a member of ILAC and a signatory to the ILAC MRA).

    CIC’s low-voltage control transformers are compact, economical, and suitable for use in machine tools or industrial equipment. They are also referred to as control power transformers (CPT’s), industrial control transformers, or machine tool transformers.The CPT Series, S-N Series, and EP-1S Series provide models with accuracy up to 0.5, 1.0, or 3.0 according to IEC’s regulations for potential transformers. These models can be used as voltage transformers for measuring.Customized products and ODM/OEM services are available.
