CIC President Honored with “Taiwan Top 100 MVP Managers 2025” Recognition

(CIC), was recently honored as a recipient of the “Taiwan Top 100 MVP Managers 2025”, organized by Manager Today magazine. This annual recognition acknowledges outstanding managerial leadership and contributions in corporate strategy and business performance.
Founded over five decades ago, CIC has long been dedicated to the electrical and electronic equipment sector and has become an important manufacturer in Asia’s medium- and low-voltage instrument transformer industry. Under the leadership of President Mike Huang, together with the collective efforts of the entire CIC team, the company achieved record highs in both the number of newly developed product models and overall revenue growth in 2024. These results clearly demonstrate CIC’s strong professional competitiveness and technological leadership in the power market.
Over the years, CIC has focused on the development and manufacturing of instrument transformers—namely Current Transformers (CT) and Voltage Transformers (VT). By integrating technology transfer from Germany’s MWB with extensive local manufacturing experience, CIC has established a comprehensive system encompassing R&D, testing, quality management, and rapid delivery. All products undergo rigorous testing in a laboratory accredited by TAF (Taiwan Accreditation Foundation), a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC MRA). CIC’s instrument transformers support customized specifications and are widely deployed worldwide in applications related to metering, power generation, transmission, and distribution by utilities, industrial users, and engineering firms.
The Taiwan Top 100 MVP Managers 2025 award ceremony was held on November 28, 2025. The award was accepted on behalf of President Huang by Ms. Crystal Yang, Vice General Manager of CIC’s Trading Development Division, accompanied by Ms. Sandy Chung, CIC Project Manager. The recognition reflects not only individual leadership excellence but also affirmation of CIC’s overall management system and long-term operational strategy.

This voltage transformer is a single-phase, epoxy-resin-cast medium-voltage potential transformer designed to also function as an operation power source*, specifically paired with 24kV 4-Way Switchgear. It features a high-voltage elbow-type connector on the primary side and includes an internal high-voltage power fuse for protection. The exterior of the voltage transformer is coated with a conductive metal mixture for shielding, and waterproof treatment can be requested for the secondary side. The units are lightweight (the one-phase module is only 18mm wide). This compact meter can withstand currents up to 100-amps and can double that if used in conjunction with an appropriate current transformer. This meter is also available in a three-phase unit. Both the one-phase and three-phase models can support RS485 communication.
