CIC’s Annual Customer Gathering Series Officially Begins
2025/10/30 Challenge Industrial Co., Ltd. (CIC)CIC (Challenge Industrial Co., Ltd.) has officially launched its Annual Customer Gathering Series in Taiwan.
The first event took place in Taichung City on October 14–15 and concluded successfully after two days of productive exchanges. Professionals from the electrical, electronic, and electromechanical industries, including engineers and technicians from Central Taiwan, participated enthusiastically, contributing to a warm and collaborative atmosphere that fostered both technical exchange and closer partnerships.
This gathering centered on CIC’s core products, which continue to earn strong trust in the market — Current Transformers (CTs), Voltage Transformers (VTs), Distribution Transformers, and Electronic Energy Meters.
During the morning sessions, CIC’s technical team and department heads conducted one-on-one discussions and presentations to address common product application issues encountered in real project sites, helping participants gain a more comprehensive understanding of product features and practical applications. Among the highlights was an informative session dedicated to frequently encountered instrument transformer questions, which received particularly positive feedback from attendees.
In the luncheon and open networking sessions that followed, participants shared valuable field experience and insights, allowing CIC to better understand market needs and gather meaningful feedback for continuous product improvement and service enhancement.
This Central Taiwan event marks the beginning of CIC’s series of customer gatherings across Taiwan. Subsequent sessions will be held in northern and southern regions as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen engagement and cooperation with customers nationwide, building toward steady and long-term growth together.

Single-pole voltage transformers in this indoor medium-voltage range are epoxy-resin-cast potential transformers designed for 12 kV, 24 kV, and 36 kV power systems. These instrument transformers operate with measuring and monitoring instruments for power system analysis and supervision or in conjunction with protective relays to support system safety and reliability. Selected models can be equipped with a primary-side fuse assembly, and certain models offering a rated thermal burden of 1000 VA or higher may also serve as a power source for circuit breaker operation, functioning as control power transformers (CPT), control transformers (CTR), or industrial control transformers in switchgear and machine tool applications.
Conductive Shield Voltage Transformer (Potential Transformer) for 24 kV 4-Way Switchgear (Also Operation Power Source)

This voltage transformer is a single-phase, epoxy-resin-cast medium-voltage potential transformer designed to also function as an operation power source*, specifically paired with 24kV 4-Way Switchgear. It features a high-voltage elbow-type connector on the primary side and includes an internal high-voltage power fuse for protection. The exterior of the voltage transformer is coated with a conductive metal mixture for shielding, and waterproof treatment can be requested for the secondary side. The voltage transformer has a rated burden and accuracy of 600 VA / 3.0 CL.* Operation power source: In this application, the voltage transformer can also be referred to as a "control power transformer" (CPT), "control transformer" (CTR), "industrial control transformer," or a "machine tool transformer."

VPF Series
Outdoor voltage transformers in the VPF Series are medium-voltage (MV) potential transformers designed for revenue metering applications. As part of a Metering Outfit (MOF), these 15.5–36.5 kV instrument transformers are cast in Araldite® UV-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin and are suitable for long-term outdoor service in harsh environments, including solar ultraviolet radiation, salt fog, high temperature, and high humidity.
