CR-1S Series

Low-voltage current transformers of the CR-1S Series, available in multi-ratio or single-ratio models, offer higher current ratios (800-4000/5A), higher accuracy, and larger window diameters (even to 160mm or 6.3”) for convenient installation over high current busbars. These epoxy-resin-cast low-voltage (720 volts / 600 volts, or 0.72 kV / 0.6 kV) current transformers facilitate wiring while decreasing contact failure rates.

About the Product

Designed to meet the requirement of a higher current ratio and a higher accuracy, current transformers CR-1S Series have a greater window diameter, which facilitates installation and wiring in a high-current application (with the busbar or multiple insulated wires as the primary conductor). This convenient installation and wiring method decreases the occurrence rate of contact point failure. Multi-ratio models are available upon request (e.g. 4000-2000/5A or 4000-2000-1000/5A). In the multi-ratio models, the burden changes according to its corresponding current ratio, as is stipulated by IEEE and IEC regulations. Insulated with Araldite® epoxy resin, CR-1S Series current transformers are characterized by a pleasing exterior, excellent moisture resistance, and a high level of insulation.
